For the first time, we are excited to invite you to come with us! We’ll travel to the the beautiful Northern Cascade mountains for a three-day climb of the magnificent Mt. Baker. At 10,871 ft., this volcano is a perfect introduction to glacier climbing. And who better to go with than Willie Benegas of Benegas Brothers Expeditions?

Read on for more info. The climb will take place June 9-11, 2020. We have limited spots available.

Mt Baker, the most heavily glaciated mountain in the North Cascades

Willie Benegas and his twin brother, Damien, are two of the world’s top alpinists. Their company, Benegas Brothers Expeditions, has set the standard for guiding around the world. They are well known for their guiding on Mt. Everest, where they have amassed multiple ascents and rescues of sick and injured climbers. They have a golden reputation as being caring, safe and culturally-aware. At Musa Masala we are so proud that Willie wrote a blurb for our book, Musa Masala: Mountain Girl of the Himalaya. We are teaming up with Willie for our ascent of Mt. Baker and offering you the chance to climb and learn from the best.
